Dr. Rudolf Gunnerman is partner and director of Advanced Refining Concepts, LLC, a clean fuel innovation company he co-founded in 2008.
Dr. Gunnerman is a world renowned inventor and pioneer in the alternative energy arena, with a more than 40-year history in the development and marketing of new energy technologies.  His passion and leadership have helped advance cleaner burning and/or more efficient alternative fuels, including the revolutionary GDiesel®, Advanced Refining Concepts’ inaugural fuel product.  Dr. Gunnerman’s 23 US patents, and hundreds of international patents, teach his basic research and led to the development and commercialization of widely used energy products such as wood pellet fuels, advanced biomass fuels, aqueous fuels and various cold distillation technologies employing methods ranging from ultrasound to complex catalysts.  Dr. Gunnerman played an integral role in the establishment of a 25 megawatt agricultural waste power plant, located in California, and has designed and operated numerous energy processing facilities throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  He has funded and run highly successful private and public corporations based on his inventions.  Dr. Gunnerman holds three honorary doctoral degrees in physics and environmental sciences, and has received numerous national and international awards and commendations for significant technological achievements in his field.  Dr. Gunnerman was born in 1928, in Munich, Germany, and studied mathematics and physics before immigrating to the United States in 1949.

Mr. Peter Gunnerman, Partner and Director, has spent the majority of his professional career in senior management positions of several private and public alternative fuel and fuel related companies. Most recently, from May 2005 until December 2006, Mr. Gunnerman served as the president of SulphCo, Inc. [AMEX:SUF] which is in the business of upgrading crude oil. Currently, Mr. Gunnerman owned and operated Global 6, LLC a privately held energy consulting company. Mr. Gunnerman has served on the Board of Directors of Clean Fuels Technology, Inc. based in Reno, NV, Advanced Fuels, LLC, a joint venture company between Clean Fuels, LLC and Caterpillar, Inc. based in Peoria, Illinois and Fujairah Oil Technology Limited, based in Fujairah, UAE. Mr. Gunnerman is a member and serves on the Board of Directors of the Reno Tahoe chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization.

Mr. Gerhard Seidenkranz, Partner, has been actively engaged in the mechanical and industrial engineering fields since 1974. Mr. Seidenkranz is currently the CEO of NTG Neue Technologien Beteiligungs GmbH. NTG is a worldwide operating mechanical engineering company located in Germany, specializing in petrochemical plants, particle accelerators, as well as vacuum and nano technologies. He is also the Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of STEINICK AG. Mr. Seidenkranz received a degree in mechanical and industrial engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen, Germany.
